Founded in 1968 by a group of employees from Interstate Paper LLC in Riceboro, Georgia, Interstate Credit Union initially catered exclusively to the employees of Interstate Paper LLC. From humble beginnings operating out of a shoebox in John and Emma Jean Boatwright’s Jesup home, we have since expanded our services with the merger of Appling Citizens Federal Credit Union and Wayne Teachers Credit Union. Presently, we operate four branch locations: Jesup, Baxley, Midway, and Hazlehurst.
